Light the Night

Light the Night Walk

We at CAH had hoped to organize a team to walk in one of the upcoming Light the Night walks to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Foundation Beyond Belief, a secular charity, is organizing local teams across the country with the goal of raising at least one million U.S. dollars for the fight against blood cancers. My teenage nephew is fighting leukemia, so this cause is personal to me. Though time is running too short to organize a team, I encourage all of you to sponsor the Humanist Community at Harvard's team which is walking on 10/11. Every dollar you give will be doubled twice by the Link family and again by the Stiefel Freethought Foundation's matching pledge, so even if you can only make a small gift, you can still make a big impact.
